Your monthly wellness coach
Daniel Erwin is the wellness coach behind the monthly Metabolic Defense Project sessions. He focuses on nutrition, gut health, and the daily habits that support metabolic health, and he helps members take what they are learning and make it part of real life. He has spent more than thirty years in health and wellness, and he still lives it each day.

What Daniel focuses on
Daniel's work centers on the everyday foundations of metabolic health: what you eat, how your gut feels, how you move, and whether the routine can survive a busy week. He holds a master's in education and certifications in holistic nutrition and gut-health nutrition, and he has spent more than thirty years helping people build health that lasts.
In his fifties, he stays active, keeps his own nutrition honest, and coaches from experience rather than theory. He truly believes in supporting men and women in their pursuit of healthspan, and the guidance stays practical because it comes from someone who has kept figuring this out himself as the years added up.

The philosophy
That is the whole thing. Everything else (the programs, the tracking, the food guidance) exists to get people off the sidelines and back into whatever they actually want to be doing.
And it is worth being clear that what you want to be doing is yours to define. It is not a race time unless you want it to be.
In real life
In the Metabolic Defense Project, getting off the sidelines has nothing to do with a finish line. For the members Daniel works with, it usually looks like one of these.
You do not need a medal or a race time for any of this to matter. It comes down to protecting your metabolism, keeping your strength, and building a way of living you can maintain, so you feel like yourself now and hold onto it for the years ahead.
How Daniel coaches
